Teltonika Mobility is delighted to announce its cooperation with Segway Italia, a leading provider of electric kick scooters for the sharing businesses in Italy and Europe.
Established in 2004, Segway Italia is one of the key manufacturers of electric vehicles in the region. The company model is aimed at companies and startups operating in the sharing Mobility sector and at Public Bodies that deem it appropriate to support the free-floating model.
In the first part of 2021, Segway Italia and Teltonika Mobility made a contact that eventually resulted in productive talks about cooperation and final agreement. Since the agreement was reached, thousands of Teltonika’s KICK E-SCOOTER TRACKER EASY (TST100) trackers have been installed in Segway Italia’s kick e-scooters.
Segway Italia now successfully provides the kick e-scooters with TST100 to the sharing and rental companies, local administrations, accommodation facilities, small and medium enterprises in a dozen of cities in Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey and Lithuania. Among the most notable collaborations are prestigious companies of Ferrari, Blauer HT, Figorent etc.
“Thanks to the adoption of the device, Segway Italia can remotely plan all the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities of the vehicles on which TST100 is installed, optimizing management costs and increasing the quality of the assistance services. Segway Italia trusts in a long-term partnership with Teltonika not limiting itself to the use of the TST100 only. The goal is to expand and/or adapt current solutions to the changing and growing demands of the market.”, – said Massimo Papili, CEO of Segway Italia.“We are delighted to have been entrusted to provide our trackers and services for Segway Italia.
We found common ground regarding the values and ideas of conducting business in the competitive market of micro-mobility. Teltonika Mobility will strive to keep up the bar high and yield even better results in our collaboration”, – comments Marius Slavinskas, Head of Business Development at Teltonika Mobility.
